Bridge piles

Upgrading of structures PS3 and PS5 - reinforcement and raising of structures at PR 36+680 and PR 39+510.

The contract covers the impact hardening of the piers and the raising of the PS3 and PS5 structures by 26 cm and 15 cm respectively, enabling them to cross the A6 motorway.

DEMATHIEU & Bard called on the services of KRINGS INTERNATIONAL France to supply the panels to protect people at the bottom of the excavation.

Site constraints include the limited space available for earthmoving and handling equipment, the limited air draft due to the low height of the deck, and the need to avoid leaning against the pier so as to be able to pour directly against it.

KIF therefore provided Demathieu with panels from its Slide rail systems.
